Hello,
Students are working on an 'I Wonder' assignment. Students research, write and present on topics that they are wondering about. Each week, for the next five weeks they will present to the class their findings along with a visual aid. Speaking and listening is an important part of the curriculum. This project will allow for students to present on topics of interest to them. Ask your child what they are wondering about.
Journals (2500 words), and four reading reflections will soon be due. Students should have already finished between two or three books. There are many choices at the library and do not all have to be fiction. Some students may prefer information books or biographies. The purpose is to learn to read for enjoyment.
Please check homework hour as some students have not completed prior assignments.
